The City of Linn Valley keeps data collection on this website to a minimum and tells you plainly what is collected and why.

What we collect

Website analytics. The City uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how the website is used — for example, which pages are visited and roughly how many people visit. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, and general details about your device and browser. It also estimates a general location (such as city or region) from your internet connection. This information is used in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and the City does not sell your information.

Forms. When you use a form on this site — such as Ask the City or the Contact form — it opens a message in your own email program. Whatever you choose to send (your name, email address, and message) is delivered to City Hall by email so we can respond. We use it only to answer you.

Public records. The City of Linn Valley is a government body. Correspondence you send the City may be subject to the Kansas Open Records Act.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses cookies only for the analytics described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

Your choices
