TextMyGov
The City uses TextMyGov, a text-messaging service that lets residents report common issues and receive City notifications from a mobile phone — no app to download.
What you can do
- Report an issue by text — send a message describing a problem (for example, a pothole, a streetlight, or a nuisance concern) and the system routes it to the right department.
- Get notifications — opt in to receive text alerts from the City, such as weather, water, or emergency notices.
How to sign up
Text the City’s keyword to the TextMyGov number to get started. Standard message and data rates may apply; you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
[PLACEHOLDER — City to confirm] Sign-up number and keyword. On the previous website these details appeared only inside an image, so they could not be copied over automatically. Once you provide the number and keyword, we’ll list them here.
